About the Position
The candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the software development projects for the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java development methodologies, strong leadership skills, and experience managing cross-functional teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage software development projects for the banking domain using Java programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and deliver high-quality software products
- Develop project plans, track project progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Manage project resources, including project team members, timelines, and budgets
- Conduct regular project meetings to ensure project requirements are being met
- Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders and management
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development
- Assist in the development of technical documentation
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B Tech) or Masters in Computer Applications (MCA)
- Minimum 7-9 years of relevant experience in Java software development
- At least 5 years of experience managing software development projects in the banking domain
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its core concepts
- Experience with popular Java frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate) and libraries
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Software Delivery Manager with a minimum of 7 – 9 years of total experience, out of which min 2-3 years experience as a Software Delivery Manager with an IT company preferably in the Banking Domain and have handled a team size of more than 10 people for a substantial period.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software developers to deliver customer requirements, on time, and within budget while ensuring a high level of quality.
- Tracking a project against schedules and taking corrective actions on slippage. Escalation to the next level in case of slippage / likely slippage in time or quality parameters.
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
- Regular coordination with clients, internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Prepare/review project documents such as FSD/FRD
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree / MCA with a post-graduate diploma / Degree from a reputed institution.
- Good Verbal & Written Communication
- Should have done Efforts Estimation
- Must have handled a team of 8-10 developers
- Should have handled Projects on Java Tech Stack (Java, Spring, Spring Boot, React, Hybrid, Etc)
- Should be good in SQL (MS SQL Server / Oracle SQL / My SQL)
