Overview
The UPI API Sandbox CoE initiative was designed to provide a secure testing environment for banks and fintech companies to integrate and validate their applications with the UPI platform before going live. The sandbox environment allowed participants to simulate real transaction workflows and test their integrations with the APIs provided by National Payments Corporation of India.
Purpose:
To create a sandbox environment that enables banks and fintech companies to integrate and test their applications with NPCI’s UPI platform, including support for UPI 2.0 features.
Solution Delivered:
Developed a controlled testing and simulation environment that allows ecosystem participants to validate UPI integrations, workflows, and API functionality before moving their applications to production.
Technologies Used:
Implemented a Java-based API and integration framework to support secure connectivity, testing, and validation of UPI services.
