Jana Small Finance Bank Group Loan Processing Platform

Overview

The Group Loan Processing Platform CoE initiative focuses on improving the efficiency of group loan operations through a workflow-driven system. The objective of this initiative is to streamline loan processing activities initiated through mobile channels, including meeting center creation, loan top-ups, collections, and center management. As part of the solution, the team designed and developed an in-house microservices-based platform to migrate group loan processing from Salesforce to a custom workflow-enabled system. The platform was built using modern technologies such as React, microservices architecture, iBPMN, Oracle, and WebSphere to ensure scalability, flexibility, and high performance.

Purpose:

To implement a workflow-driven operations module for processing group loans initiated through mobile channels. This includes functionalities such as meeting center creation, loan top-ups, collections management, and center management to streamline group lending operations.

Solution Delivered:

Designed and developed an in-house microservices-based platform to migrate group loan processing from SFDC to a custom workflow-enabled system. The solution provides end-to-end operational capabilities and supports efficient processing of group loan activities.

Technologies Used:

The platform was developed using technologies such as React, microservices architecture, iBPMN, Oracle, and WebSphere to ensure a scalable and high-performance system.

Value Addition:

Enabled improved processing efficiency and operational flexibility by replacing the earlier SFDC- based system with a scalable microservices platform that supports structured workflows and queue- based processing.
