This initiative supports the development of a gamified digital banking platform designed for school-going children, helping them understand the fundamentals of saving, spending, and responsible financial management. The platform encourages engagement through rewards, tasks, and interactive learning features, motivating children to build healthy financial habits from an early age.
Purpose:
The KidsBanc Center of Excellence focuses on building a financial literacy platform designed for school-going children. The initiative aims to help young users understand basic banking concepts and develop healthy financial habits from an early age while supporting the bank’s financial inclusion and education programs.
Solution Delivered:
A gamified digital banking platform was developed specifically for children. The platform includes reward-based activities and tasks that encourage children to complete chores and save money. It also features an Early Savers Club to motivate children to start saving early and become familiar with banking concepts in an engaging and interactive way.
Technologies Used:
The solution was developed using robust technologies including Java, JSP, Struts, Oracle, and WebLogic. A mobile application was also built using Cordova to support both iOS and Android devices, ensuring accessibility and ease of use.

The platform enables young users to understand basic banking processes in a simple and engaging manner. It helps promote a savings culture among children while allowing the bank to build early relationships with minor customers and encourage financial responsibility from a young age.
